What we do?

We are volunteers that spend time in grassroots work. The work we do gives us a wide spectrum of learning opportunities and hearty dose of heart warming moments.
 
As a community leader you get to experience from the Arts, Youth, Sports, Active Aging, Inter Racial Harmony, Health Promotion, Charity, Welfare, Activities for the Young/ Seniors, Crime Prevention Movement, Welfare, Total Defense, Green Movement and many more.

As a community leader you get to experience the different relationship and processes working with various entities in government and NGOs that directly or indirectly influence our community.

We take up many roles. We can be webmasters, toastmasters, event planners, cleaners, ticket sellers, food servers, emcees, a listening ear, a social worker and many more.

We are:

1) the bridge between government, authorities, agencies and residents
2) the node that connects to Moulmein Division
3) not the authorities
4) ordinary folks contributing time and effort to care for our home

We organize:

1) events for the residents
2) activities for young and old
3) activities for families
4) outreach to welfare homes, the underprivileged and destitute

We come from all walks of lives and have different passions, abilities, professions and background. We have many reasons to serve our community.

We serve together to contribute to the well being of our community.

We serve in hopes to meet more friends and to know our neighbors better.

We serve to ensure a better environment for our family and children.

We serve because we care. We love our home.
